I Want A New Drug

IDIS Pharmaceuticals has carved out a niche by connecting patients to drugs not yet approved in their countries. Now it's taking its services to the United States.

As a customer, John Lagus was impressed with what he saw at IDIS Pharmaceuticals. About two years ago, he joined the company as its vice president of business and corporate development. Now he’s leading the company’s expansion into the United States. IDIS works with pharmacists and doctors seeking access to not yet approved drugs by helping them navigate the regulatory process and sourcing the drug.
